- No fine
- No court appearance
- No points off your license
You are eligible if your citation was for:
- speeding (not more than 19 mph over the speed limit)
- disregarding traffic signs and signals
- failure to yeild the right-of-way
- wrong way, wrong side or improper passing
- following too closely
- driving too fast for conditions
- improper turns, backing or lane changes
- exhibition of acceleration
- negligent/careless driving
- if you have NOT PARTICIPATED IN A TRAFFIC DIVERSION program in the last 3 years
You are ineligible if your citation was for:
- parking citations
- CDL, Operator's License Holder
- participating in a speed competiion
- if your citation resulted from an injury accident
- major traffic citations (leaving a scene of an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, willful reckless or reckless driving)
- construction and school zones
- no insurance
- citations for multiple violations, except for: proof of insurance not in vehicle, not wearing a seatbelt, valid driver's license not on person, or valid registration not in vehicle
Total registration MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN TEN (10) WORKING DAYS* after the receipt of the citation or you will be ineligible and need to pay the citation.
* Total registration includes having the completed paperwork to the Traffic Diversion Program within the ten (10) working days.
