• P-(Preparation) R-(Respect) I-(Integrity) D-(Dedication) E-(Effort)

The five virtues of the P.R.I.D.E. program are Preparation, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Effort. The quarterly recognition rallies evolved from one of  the district-wide school improvement goals, which states, “We will establish and implement plans to model and develop positive character, citizenship, and leadership skills for all students.” Through the guidance of the Positive Culture Action Team, staff members nominate students following a nationwide, research-based protocol for Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS). All nominated students receive a certificate and are eligible for the weekly recognition drawing. These winners are announced to the student body at the end of each week and featured on the school’s website as well as Facebook and Twitter accounts.
