Colors on a webpage should remain the same among all of the websites related to the page. If the colors are too contrasting or changing, it may diorient the viewer and make text hard to read.

 

Page Layout:

 

Page layout follows a typical formula for all websites which goes as follows:

 

Navigation Navigation is widely accepted to be at the top of the page in either drop-down or link/button form.
Content Content of a page should always be in the middle, underneath the header, and should also be centered on the page so it can be read easily.
Footer The footer is always at the bottom of the page and can contain light navigation as well as some legal information if there is any.
